Our unique design incorporates a number of features that result in providing the operational flexibility demanded by the cyclic nature of today’s utility demand profile. Whether you need 100 MWe or 1000 MWe, our split backpass design, coupled with the BHI-FW Split Flame Low NOx burner and Over-Fire Air system, will provide a unit with the best available turndown and steam temperature control.

The patented Split Flame burner is robust and reliable. It offers an incredible range of settings that generate an optimized flame front with just three moving parts, while easily lending itself to a modulating control scheme for the best possible emissions control throughout the turndown range of the unit.
